The Multi-Platinum, Grammy Award-winning rock band will return to the Philippines for one night, September 17, 2015 for a one-time concert.
Part of “The Maroon 5 World Tour 2015,” and highlighting the band’s fifth studio album, V, Maroon 5’s Philippine visit will be held at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
V features “Maps” which set a record for the highest debut by a group on Top 40 radio charts in 18 years. Its second single, “Animals”, peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The third single “Sugar” also made news when frontman Adam Levine and his band surprised Los Angeles brides and grooms on their big days with mini concerts to shoot the song’s music video – which now has over 125 million views on YouTube.
Special guest is the Swedish trio, DIRTY LOOPS. Formed in 2008 while attending the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, the band’s big break came when their version of Lady Gaga’s ‘Just Dance’ became an overnight viral sensation. The band released their debut album Loopified on Universal Records in 2014, which boasts ten original tracks including standout single ‘Hit Me’.
