Authorities found an indoor “marijuana laboratory” after a raid in San Juan City, Thursday night.

A concerned citizen reported suspicious activities of a building tenant to the police. The informant also showed pictures of marijuana planted at the building’s rooftop.

“She was the one who sought assistance sa ating PCP na merong hinihinalang marijuana dahil tenant siya. Electric bill, umabot sa P29,000 monthly,” San Juan police chief Police Colonel Jaime Santos said.

NCPO chief Guillermo Eleazar said they immediately raided the 4th floor of the building after they gathered enough evidence and the court granted them a search warrant.

Marijuana laboratory could be a Chinese

Police did not catch anyone inside the “marijuana lab,” but Eleazar said the suspect was allegedly a Chinese who has been a tenant for seven months already.

“Part of the investigation is getting the name of the tenant and background nitong establishment para siyang managot. Initially, sinasabi Chinese pero we have to check on this,” Eleazar said.
