Mariel reacts to rumors linking Robin Padilla to Mocha Uson

Mariel Rodriguez said the intrigues linking her mourning husband Robin Padilla to a former entertainer who is now public official Mocha Uson are baseless.

In an Instagram post, Mariel said that there is time to be “assholes” but not now because her husband is mourning the death of his brother Royette.

“So many people are sending me messages… ‘checking’ on me. People are tagging me bla bla bla… let me tell you this. ROBIN’S BROTHER PASSED AWAY. He is grieving. He has never been in so much pain all his life. He doesn’t need your baseless gossip,” the actress said.

“Namatayan ng kapatid yung asawa ko. Please lang po. He doesn’t even know anything about all this rumor but i am putting a stop to this NOW. May oras para maging assholes now is not that time. Please,” she added.

Mariel also laughed at a netizen who asked her reaction about the rumored pregnancy of Mocha and Robin was allegedly the father.

“Sis ano masasabi mo na buntis daw si Mocha at si Robin ang tatay?,” asked the netizen.

Mariel answered with a simple emoji crying with laughter.

Mariel and Robin got married in 2010, and they now have two children, Gabriela and Isabella.

Meanwhile, Uson, a former leader of the girl group Mocha Girls, became a blogger and is now the deputy administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

Mocha also broke her silence regarding the issue that she was pregnant with Robin’s baby.

In an Instagram post on Jan. 22, Uson denied the pregnancy rumor as she posted a video of her flat stomach while she lifted weights.

Uson said:

“BUNTIS DAW AKO KAY ROBIN?

“Wala pong katotohanan yang tsismis na yan. Napakabait po nung tao. Nakakahiya naman kay idol Robin at Mariel.
