According to the actor, it was March 7 when he entered the lock-in taping in Cavite. He said that on March 10, one of their colleagues developed a fever.

Because of what happened, they immediately isolated.

“March 15 kami nagpa-swab. Then March 16 we received the call to tell us the result. Positive po ako for the coronavirus. ‘Yun. Positive po ako sa COVID. Sobrang ‘di ako makapaniwala. ‘Di ko matanggap na wala akong nararamdaman, asymptomatic ako,” said Alcaraz.

“Dahil nga positive ako I need to be quarantined for 14 days. Another 14 days na mami-miss ko ang asawa ko, ang family ko,” the actor added.

He said his wife Lara Quigaman sent vitamins, food, and a COVID-19 saliva test kit.

“Dahil sa kakulitan ko tinray ko ‘yung saliva antigen test — negative (ang resulta). After two days dahil ‘di ako mapakali sa nangyari sa akin, may nurse kami rito, sinwab ako at it turns out negative po ulit. So, medyo naguguluhan ako kung ano ba talaga kung whether I’m really positive or negative,” said Marco Alcaraz.

“Pero ‘yon na nga just to be sure and be safe para sa mga bata para kay Lara, para sa ibang tao, I decided to complete my isolation here. Malungkot, oo. Miss na miss ko ang anak ko definitely, lalo na po ang asawa ko but I’m thankful po to God na naka-quarantine ako rito sa isang magandang lugar at it’s also an opportunity na mag-reflect ako rito,” he added.

According to Marco Alcaraz, he believes God will not forsake him.

“I know din naman na definitely ‘di ako papabayaan ni Lord sa mga time na ganito. I’m holding on to His promise,” said Alcaraz.
