A husband who returned home from drinking, has killed his wife after playing ‘Russian Roulette’ with a home-made .22 calibre pistol in the town of Binalonan, Pangasinan.

A report on the incident said that 31-year-old Jeffrey Romero, killed his wife, 27-year-old Merilyn Romero after he put an improvised pistol to his head, pulling the trigger, and the gun did not go off – he then put the gun to his wife’s head and pulled the trigger, killing her instantly.

Police arrested Romero and recovered the makeshift gun used in the killing.

The couple’s two children are now in the custody of Merilyn’s parents.
