A man from Ghana was arrested yesterday after going nuts and biting a man in the early morning on Taft Avenue in Manila.
22-year-old Ib Yung even pushed and kicked the arresting officer after Mobile Patrol Units responded after the victim sought help.
The incident involving Yung and 25-year-old Rolando Soriano of Malate happened at Taft and Finance Road at around 1am. Taft said he was passing by when the suspect suddenly grabbed him by the hand and bit him in the left arm.
The victim, startled, began to shout for help and ran away from the suspect, but Yung briefly chased him – Once sober at the police station, Yung begged police not to inform his embassy about what he had done.
Charges will be filed against Yung for alarm and scandal, resisting arrest and physical injury.
