A man fondled a female bus passenger sleeping beside him in Cavite. The victim caught the suspect on video and confronted him.
According to Bam Alegre’s report in Unang Balita on Monday, the suspect pretended he was not doing anything and wrong and denied the victim’s allegations. But the female passenger was determined to have him arrested.
The man was arrested and taken to the Dasmariñas police station, where he repeatedly apologized.
The suspect pleaded not to lock him up because his son is ill.
After a lengthy plea, the victim decided to have the man blottered for the sake of his sick son.
In any case, the victim reminded her fellow women not to think twice, to speak out, to be angry, or to report when they have experienced abuse.

Police raid tattoo shop disguised as prostitution den
Authorities raided a prostitution den posed a tattoo shop in Manila, Monday.
On paper, the establishment is a tattoo shop and wellness center. But police officers arrested the men working there who were caught in the act of having sex with their male customers.
Those arrested admit that in addition to massages, they provide extra service.
The barangay chairman was scolded for granting a barangay permit to the establishment.
Police are now looking for the establishment’s landlord who will face a violation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
