Authorities recovered a caliber .45 pistol and a blue Rusi motorcycle with no license plate at the crime scene.

Meanwhile, DILG spokesman Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya clarified that police should directly follow the orders of President Rodrigo Duterte and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

This was after Malaya received reports that LGU officials are giving orders, which contradicts the orders of the President and the IATF.

“They should get their orders from the President and not from LGUs. They are national government employees and not employees of LGUs,” he said.

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra earlier said violators of the enhanced community quarantine imposed by the government might be arrested and penalized.
