According to Caparroso, the suspect did not have any permits to repackage or manufacture alcohol. It is also not safe to do this in just one house, especially alcohol is flammable.

Such alcohols are also considered dangerous, especially if the chemicals mixed are not proven safe.

According to the suspect, many of their colleagues were frontliners, so they planned to donate some of their repackaged ethyl alcohol while others were for sale.
