According to the victim, alias Elaine, she sent the private pictures to stop the suspect from thinking that she has an affair with another man.

Instead, the suspect used the nude photos to blackmail her out of jealousy.

“No’ng 15 nag-away kami. Talagang blinock ko siya. Do’n nga po siya nakapag-send sa mga friend ko,” Elaine said.

The victim met the suspect on Facebook, and their relationship lasted for about four months. The suspect had three daughters, while Elaine also had three sons.

“Nahihiya po ako sa mga anak ko . . . Matindi pong bigay na aral sa akin ito,” she said.

In the suspect’s defense, he said he accidentally sent photos to Elaine’s relatives and friends.

He eventually admitted the crime and begged Elaine not to put him in jail.

The suspect will face several charges, including violation of Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.

According to the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit-Calabarzon, posting and spreading private and nude photos is the most frequently received complaint in Batangas and the region.
