Dengue is not only transmitted through a mosquito bite, but it can also be sexually transmitted, as confirmed by its first case in Spain.

Maki Pulido reported on GMA News “24 Oras” on Monday that a man in Spain was infected with dengue after having sex with his male partner with dengue.

It is said that the dengue virus remained in the blood and human urine for 23 days. But the infection also remains in the male’s semen for 37 days.
