An area in Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City was caught on fire, Tuesday morning.
Fire officials declared “fire out” at 8:57 a.m.
Senior Fire Officer Oliver Tautho of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Cebu City said the fire reached third alarm at 8:32 a.m., second at 8:27 a.m.
The BFP received the first fire alarm at 8:21 a.m.
Officials continue to investigate the cause of the fire.

The Cebu City Fire Department received the alarm at 9:57 p.m., and it was raised to Task Force Alpha at 10:41 p.m., prompting the nearby fire officers to respond to the fire scene.
The allegedly started from the house of a certain Elviza Flores.
The city fire department estimated the damage to property around P1 million.
Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office chief Nagiel Bañacia said firefighters struggled to put out the fire due to the areas’ narrow roads.
