Authorities in Bacolod City arrested a member of the LGBTQ+ community for a complaint by a young man that the suspect threatened to spread his sensitive photo after he refused to meet him after they had sex.
Adrian Prietos reported on GMA Regional TV News on Friday that National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) personnel arrested the suspect in an entrapment operation at a restaurant.
The 17-year-old victim allegedly agreed to meet with the suspect, and when they were face to face, he was arrested by the operatives.
The suspect was found with his cellphone containing sensitive photos of the victim. The suspect also allegedly had an audio recording of them having sex with the victim without the teenager’s consent.
According to Atty. Renoir Baldovino, Agent in Chief, NBI-Bacolod, the suspect and victim, met online last year.
The suspect allegedly took advantage of the young man’s need to have a new cellphone.
The suspect allegedly offered to give the victim a cellphone in exchange for having sex.
According to the victim, the suspect gave him P2,000 but did not have a cellphone.

Because of his conscience, the victim refused to meet with the suspect again, and that is when he allegedly began to intimidate him.
It was learned that the victim’s parents worked in Manila and that his grandmother was taking care of him.
The young man complained to his grandmother, and they sought help from the NBI, so the suspect was arrested.
In prison, the suspect denied the allegations against him.
The suspect will face multiple complaints despite violating the Anti-Child Pornography Act, the Anti-Voyeurism Act, and the Special Protection Against Child Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination.
Meanwhile, a 73-year-old grandfather and his nine-year-old companion were stabbed to death in the head at home in Bacolod City.
The victims are Aurello Rull, a former bodyguard and his neighbor’s adopted young son.
According to Nanly Alejo, they heard Rull screaming and asking for help at his house in Barangay Vista Alegre, Bacolod City.
But when they went to the old man, they saw his bloody body and the child on the bed.
Rull was allegedly stabbed in the head, while the boy also had a head wound.
The old man died on the spot, but the child was rushed to the hospital but was also died.
