A Korean man is dead after he fell into a ravine at the Mambukal Resort in the town of Murcia, Negros Occidental.
64-year-old Kim Kyunggung was declared dead at the main hospital in Bacolod City.
A report on the incident showed that three Koreans and a tour guide were trekking to the third falls of the Mambukal Resort at about 10am when Kyunggung slipped and fell into the ravine.
The tour guide with the group immediately rescued the tourist, as well as a search and rescue team situated inside the Mambukal Resort.
Police say Kyunggung died on the way to the hospital.
