A Korean has been arrested after he punched and threatened to stab his live-in Filipina partner in their rented condominium in Angeles City.
47-year-old Hyung Chul Kim, who works as a ‘tourist guide’ for fellow Koreans, is accused of grabbing and forcibly undressing his girlfriend after she was packing to leave him. The woman hid inside the condo bathroom for nearly and hour until Kim broke down the door and forced his way in.
31-year-old Angeline Pascua accused Kim of punching her in the face and choking her after an argument at the condo unit at the Ace Condominiums located on Friendship Highway.
Pascua also said in her complaint against Kim that he threatened to kill her with a knife. Pascua cried out for help, but managed to escape and seek the help of local tricycle drivers who called the police.
Angeles City police say that the Korean failed to present his passport to them and showed them a membership card instead.
