Actress KC Concepcion thanked her mother Mega Star Sharon Cuneta as she celebrates her 36th birthday.
“Thank you for bringing me to the world, raising me and doing the best you could at 19 for your Easter baby!” she wrote, sharing a photo of young self seating at Sharon’s lap.
“You instilled in me so much about love, work and life. You made me both strong and vulnerable, independent but sensitive, you’ve made me resilient,” she added.
KC said Sharon always told her that “the best lessons learned in life are learned outside of the 4 walls of the classroom.”
“Thinking of you Mama and love you,” she said, adding a kiss emoji and #BirthdayAppreciationPost.
Meanwhile, Sharon greeted KC Concepcion a happy birthday on her Instagram account.
“Wishing you love and happiness and success in your career. Hope you had a great birthday with your Pa and your family. God bless you always,” she wrote in the caption.
KC Concepcion celebrates 36th birthday
KC earlier posted a throwback photo of her and her father Gabby Concepcion. The picture went viral as many netizens were quick to notice Gabby’s swimming trunks.
“I had written a full caption but decided you know what I’m just gonna park this here because the photo says it all,” KC wrote in the caption.
Gabby also greeted KC on her birthday. “Happy birthday, my baby,” Gabby simply wrote.
KC Concepcion is a Filipino actress, singer, TV host, entrepreneur, and humanitarian. She has had lead roles in Philippine films For The First Time (2008) and When I Met U (2009), and television series such as Lovers in Paris (2009), Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala (2013) and Ikaw Lamang (2014).
She is also the first National Ambassador Against Hunger of the United Nations’ World Food Programme. She is also the new ambassador of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines.
Concepcion is the daughter of singer-actress Sharon Cuneta and actor Gabby Concepcion, and the adopted daughter of Senator Francis Pangilinan following her mother’s marriage to him. She reconnected with her father after thirteen years since her parents’ annulment and his immigration to the United States in 1995.
