Kapetolyo, with its sleek and modern design, offers a relaxing experience for coffee lovers. It has large windows, hanging lights, and a wooden exterior.

According to Manila’s City Engineer Armand Andres, Kapetolyo will be serving homegrown coffee to its customers.

In an earlier interview, Andres said the new hangout is part of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno’s efforts to bring the city’s former glory.

Andres said in an interview with the Manila Public Information Office on August 12, “Bago pa nga mag-oath-taking ang ating mayor, Mayor Francisco ‘Isko’ Domagoso, nagdo-drawing na kami niyan ng mga pangarap niya sa Maynila.”

“So nakita niyo naman ang landscaping works ng ating garden sa Bonifacio Shrine, then nakita niyo ang ating mga pathways bagong pintura, and then iyong coffee shop natin, in one month, baka magbukas na tayo,” Andres said.

The engineer boasted that Kapetolyo’s comfort rooms as “world-class.”
