Shultz, a helicopter pilot from Lindsborg, admitted he engaged in sex acts with underage girls in the Philippines.

He videotaped sexual encounters with two children and transported the videos to his home in the USA. One of the girls was only 12 years old at the time and the other was 15.

In one of the videos, dating to between December 2014 and April 2015, Shultz can be seen giving the 15-year-old money after having sex with her.

Court documents also state: “Shultz also produced child pornography of an eight-year-old girl in the Philippines by communicating on Skype with the child’s mother and directing the mother to expose the child’s genitals and live-stream it on web camera.”

Speaking after he was first charged, federal prosecutors said: “The case began in April 2016 when the FBI received a tip that a US citizen was sexually abusing minors in the Philippines, producing live-streaming videos and distributing videos via the internet to users who paid to see them.”

Shultz faces up to 30 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000 on the charge of travelling for sex with a minor, not less than 15 years and not more than 30 years and a fine of up to $250,000 on the charge of producing child pornography, not less than five years and not more than 20 years on the charge of distributing child pornography, and a maximum penalty of five years and a fine of up to $250,000 on the identity theft charge.
