A Kansas man who filmed himself having having sex with children in the Philippines has been sentenced to over 84 years in federal prison.

The sentence was handed down at federal court to Anthony Shultz, a helicopter pilot from Lindsborg, the US Department of Justice said in a news release today (Friday, August 9).

As we previously reported, 56-year-old Shultz pleaded guilty in July last year to three counts of producing child pornography.

Each count carries a penalty of up 30 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

In his plea, Shultz admitted that he recorded the videos while having sex with 12-year-old and 15-year-old Filipino girls.  In one of the videos, Shultz is seen giving the 15-year-old money after having sex with her.

The Kansas man took the videos home with him to the States and then sold them online.

“Shultz also produced child pornography of an eight-year-old girl in the Philppines by communicating on Skype with the child’s mother and directing the mother to expose the child’s genitals and live-stream it on web camera,” a statement from the Department of Justice said.

Shultz was also charged with two counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in a foreign place with a minor victim, two counts of sex trafficking of children, selling or buying children, possessing child pornography and identity theft.

Speaking after he was first charged in July 2016, federal prosecutors said: “The case began in April 2016 when the FBI received a tip that a US citizen was sexually abusing minors in the Philippines, producing live-streaming videos and distributing videos via the internet to users who paid to see them.”
