Jollibee releases John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo’s first comeback short film

Jollibee on Wednesday released blockbuster reel John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo’s first comeback short film entitled “One True Pair The Movie.”

Bea Alonzo plays the role of Gela, who is hesitant to do a comeback project with Ian (John Lloyd). However, she eventually said yes, and the two looked back on their past.

John Lloyd said his heart already had “abs” and is now stronger, while Bea said her heart was shattered but still beating.

Bea said she first thought that she would never be okay again. It would be remembered that she was allegedly “ghosted” by her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson who is now in a relationship with Julia Barreto.

Meanwhile, John Lloyd took a long break from the show business and had a son with sexy actress Ellen Adarna who recently married Derek Ramsay.

In the short film, the two hinted that they became a secretly when they were young.

“Ano kaya ang sasabihin ng tao kung umamin tayo?” said Gela.

Lloydie answered maybe some would be happy, and some would also wait for them to separate.

They also talked about how romantic comedies affected their expectations of love.

In one scene, Bea and John Lloyd were eating the Jollibee’s “perfect pair” meal and have exchanged compliments to each other.

“Ikaw ang ningning sa aking bituin,” he said.

“Ikaw ang sandalan sa aking upuan,” she said.

“Ang ChickenJoy sa aking spaghetti,” he said.

Towards the end, John Lloyd talked about the fourth love, which goes beyond romance. It is the love that has always been there while you are having all other kinds of love.

Jollibee’s One True Pair The Movie had a short teaser released last month and garnered millions of views.

Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz were from ABS-CBN and have starred in several romantic movies.

In July, Bea transferred to 7. Months after, John Lloyd followed her and also signed a contract as a Kapuso. The two were looking forward to doing more projects together.
