The Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy returns to Philippines in 2020.

Local promoter MMI Live posted on Monday that Jo Koy will have two shows next year.

Jo Koy will be at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on January 14 and at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 15.

Tickets price for Jo Koy ranges from PHP 1,750 to PHP 7,500 which are available at SM Tickets starting September 27.

Jo Koy’s or Joseph Glenn Herbert in real life is known for his comedic take on what it feels like to have a Filipino family.

He currently has a show aired Netflix titled “Comin’ In Hot.”

Jo Koy returns to Philippines

Jo Koy’s father is a member of US Air Force who married a Filipina Josie Harrison. His parents got divorced when he was just 13 years old. Koy’s family from Washington to Tacoma where he enrolled college but eventually dropped out to pursue his career as a stand-up comedian.

His family gave him the name Jo Koy when he was growing up.

Jo Koy said he got his acting and comedic talents from his mother. She encouraged him to do impromptu performances in front of their family and friends.

He got married to Fil-American singer Angie King, but it also ended up in divorce. Jo Koy’s son it Joseph Herbert Jr. who also get featured during his performances.
