Fans reacted on the alleged breakup of Kamikazee vocalist Jay Contreras and wife Sarah Abad after the two posted cryptic messages on Mother’s Day.
“Happy Mothers Day we Love You,” Contreras captioned to an animated photo of Abad on Instagram.
“It may not be the same between us, but ill be forever grateful for giving me 2 wonderful angels. Thank u,” Abad replied, which made fans speculate the couple already parted ways.
The couple has two children, Kidlat Caia, 14, and Isla Eunan, 10.
Contreras and Abad, who both loved getting inked, tied the knot in a “black wedding” in 2009 at Paco Church in Manila.
Netizens, meanwhile, shared their sentiments over the alleged breakup.
“Just saw sarah abad’s comment on jay contreras’ IG post. May dulo pala ang langit,” said Twitter user @rustumramel. “T*****a saklap.”
Twitter user @anakng_ wrote: “wait lang, so wala na pala sina Jay Contreras at Sarah Abad. Iiyak lang ako p*******a.”
“Affected ako na hiwalay na si jay contreras tsaka sarah abad huhu ang sad,” said @clodetaa.
“Kakalungkot hiwalay na jay contreras pati sarah abad,” @franzerryl tweeted.
With so much doubt, @amiegarret asked: “Hiwalay na talaga sila jay contreras at sarah abad? So may dulo talaga ang langit, ganon?”

As of this posting, neither Jay and Sarah have released a statement to the issue. However, photos of them together appear to have already been deleted from the former’s Instagram page.
Jay Contreras is the lead vocalist of Filipino rock band Kamikazee. Fans and critics have described the band’s music as a mix of pop-punk and hard rock.
Sarah Abad, meanwhile, is a child star and is the sister of another popular actress Kaye Abad. Sarah recently starred FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and Los Bastardos.
Jay Contrera’s hit song duet with Kyla “Huling Sayaw” trended online after the couple’s rumored breakup. The song describes a couple’s last dance before they go on separate ways.
Many fans related the “Huling Sayaw’s lyrics to couple’s split; specifically the lines:
