Janella Salvador issues statement on Raffy Tulfo show complaint

Actress Janella Salvador issued a statement concerning the complaint her former personal assistant Michelle Pelongco has filed on the show of Raffy Tulfo “Wanted sa Radyo” on July 7, 2020.

Pelongco said Salvador fired her on June 12, 2020. She added the actress did not give her a salary of 12 days of work worth P3,600. She also revealed that the monthly salary she was receiving from the celebrity was P8,000.

Salvador’s handler Gidget Dela Cuesta meanwhile told radio host Tulfo that they would respond to the issue. Neither Salvador nor Dela Cuesta, however, answered the “Wanted sa Radyo” staff’s calls.

“Wanted sa Radyo” staff Carol Domingo said she was able to reach out and talk to Salvador. She told the ABS-CBN actress confirmed that Pelongco was her former personal assistant and added that Dela Cuesta would speak on her behalf.

And on Wednesday, July 8, Janella Salvador responded to Pelongco’s accusations on Twitter. She said she does not need to explain herself and claimed that Pelongco was lying.

“The only time you are gonna hear from me about this PA issue,” she said.

“I really don’t believe i have to defend myself because trial by media is not the appropriate venue for this. If you believe in your own lies and I really violated something, sue me. If you’re gonna twist the story in your desperate attempt to get money from me…sorry, hun. 3600 is small and I would gladly give it to someone who deserves it. Not worth my time,” Salvador posted in Twitter.
