Iwa Moto pregnant with second child

StarStruck graduate and former GMA7 actress Iwa Moto announced she and partner Pampi Lacson were pregnant with their second child.
She made the announcement on Instagram Thursday, July 23, by posting a photo of her baby’s sonogram.

“Hello there little one.. We are all excited to meet you. But for now, chill ka muna dyan. Mag palaki ka at magpalakas. Wag mo na pahirapan si mommy hah.. Love you,” said Iwa on her post.

“Hello everyone meet the new addition to our family,” she said, adding she is expected to give birth in 2021.

Iwa Moto and Pampi welcomed their first child, Hiromi Aiko Eve, in September 2013.

Aileen Quimado Iwamoto, known by her stage name Iwa Moto, is a Filipina actress, model and reality television personality. She is the first runner up in the third season of StarStruck, a reality-based talent search show of GMA Network. She is well known for playing Rita Acuesta on Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap and Valentina in Darna. She was born to a Japanese father and a Filipino mother.

Meanwhile, her partner, Pampi Lacson, is the son of Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson. He has a child with ABS-CBN actress Jodi Sta. Maria named Thirdy.

Many admired on how Iwa, Pampi, and Jodi maintained their friendship despite being an unconventional family.

Other local celebrities who got pregnant during the COVID-19 quarantine are Assunta de Rossi, Ryza Cenon, and Jinkee Pacquiao’s twin sister Janet Zamora.

After 18 years of being married and waiting, actress Assunta de Rossi announced she was 14 weeks pregnant last May.

Assunta is already 37 years old, and her husband, politician Jules Ledesma is already 59 years old.

Actress Ryza Cenon announced July 1 that she is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend cinematographer Miguel Antonio Cruz.

The Kapamilya actress showed her baby bump upon sharing the news over her Instagram page. Ryza said she is now five months pregnant.

The twin sister of Jinkee Pacquiao Janet Jamora announced that she was pregnant with her third baby.

Janet and her husband, former Pinoy Big Brother Housemate Steven Jumalon, announced the pregnancy on July 14.
