Iranian national went berserk in NAIA

Airport authorities arrested an Iranian national who went berserk in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, City, Thursday afternoon.

According to the spokesperson Dana Sandoval, the foreigner went to the airport to talk to his fellow female Iranian national who was held at NAIA due to the red alert notice of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).

The 31-year-old Iranian woman arrived at NAIA Terminal 3 past 1 pm on a Cebu Pacific flight from Dubai.

The Iranian man went berserk after the airport security did not allow him to go to the Iranian woman.

Authorities also seized a small canister labeled “flash bang,” which was later learned to be a cigarette lighter.

The Iranian was now detained at the airport police cell. He will undergo inquest for violating the law.

Bomb plot of Abu Sayyaf in Basilan intercepted

Military troops intercepted the bomb plot of Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) in Basilan on Tuesday.

The troops seized six improvised bombs after their encounter with the terrorist group in Brgy. Calang Canas, Maluso, Basilan.

According to Major Arvin John Encinas, spokesman for the Western Mindanao Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Alpha Company of the 68th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army received a report of the Abu Sayyaf Group’s presence in the area at around 1:50 am.

The military troops and the ASG exchanged fires that lasted for more than 30 minutes.
