A Memorandum of Agreement signed March 20, 2015 and will assist Iloilo City to develop an app which will help residents, visitors and vacationers alike.
The app will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will assist users with local and regional news feeds, tourism information, places and events as well as disaster prevention responses and more.
City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said the modern tool will assist the city to break into the online market of the future. The app will be a first for Iloilo City in hopes for economic growth and potential associated with easy-access information via hand-held devices throughout the country. The app will be free of charge and can be downloaded from any Apple app store.
