A ‘boot advisory’ has been issued for the Iloilo City school district as the city is facing a flood issue due to a clogged canal.
The Tabucan Elementary School issued the boot advisory after floods have caused students to bring raincoats and boots to school regularly.
Last year the school suspended classes due to heavy rains, this year is no different.
Authorities claim the canal in front of the school has been unclogged but another canal near the campus is clogged, causing the overall issue this year.
