QuickTime is an expandable multimedia framework developed by Apple Inc. and is capable of carrying various formats of digital video, photographs, sound, panoramic images and more.

Many downloaded the system onto Windows Vista and later Windows systems. A more updated version known as QuickTime X is currently available for Mac OS X Snow Leopard and newer.
The main office of Homeland Security is extending this warning across the world, and is not a targeted warning to just the United States. Everyone with a Windows operating system should uninstall the system or at best take your computer to someone that can uninstall it for you.
