I’m gay: Gregorio De Guzman denies involvement in Christine Dacera rape-slay case

Gregorio De Guzman, one of the suspects denied any involvement in the alleged rape and killing of flight attendant Christine Dacera.

QRT reported that Gregorio De Guzman said he and his companions did not leave Christine after she was found unconscious inside her room.

“Absurd,” De Guzman said of the alleged rape.

“Paano magiging rape? Bakla po ako. Never akong nakipagtalik sa babae,” he added.

(How would it be rape? I am gay. I have never had sex with a woman.)

According to CONAN Daily, Gregorio De Guzman is a chef and a fitness instructor. He attended Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English literature.

According to the investigation by the authorities, it is possible that Christine was allegedly given drugs and raped.

There were also wounds found on the victim’s body.

It was also found out that the victim did not know that they were in a hotel with an estimated nine to 10 suspects.

Two rooms were allegedly rented at the hotel where the suspects were having a party.

The identified suspects will be charged with rape with homicide, three of whom have already been arrested.

Christine Dacera was taken to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Initial reports said she died of a ruptured aortic aneurysm.

But Makati police are skeptical about the cause of death and suspect that a foul play happened.

“Meron siyang mga pasa, meron siyang mga contusions sa both knees and then meron siyang abrasions… pero isa lang ‘yun na mahaba. Meron definitely sexual contact,” said Makati police chief Police Colonel Harold Depositar.

(She has bruises. She has contusions on both knees and then she has abrasions… but it’s just a long one. There is definitely sexual contact.)

Alleged bottles of wine were found at the hotel because the group held a party there.

Authorities are also investigating the information they obtained that a drug was mixed with the flight attendant’s drink.

Christine Dacera also told her friend, ‘Parang may nilagay si name doon sa drinks ko kasi nag-iba ‘yung pakiramdam ko (It looks like name put something on my drinks because I feel different).”

The victim’s mother said she allowed her daughter to attend the party because she saw that she was with her fellow flight attendants.
