A 24-year-old woman was stabbed to death and robbed by a Grab driver and its accomplice in Quezon City. The victim said she was surprised that another vehicle came to take her home.

On April 1, the victim booked Grab in Commonwealth, Quezon City and was supposed to go to Pasig.

But another vehicle arrived which surprised the victim.

In the testimony of arrested driver John Lester Alhambra, he claimed that his vehicle used in the booking was damaged, according to QCPD chief Police Major Elmer Monsalve.

The victim allegedly accepted the suspect’s explanation and got into the vehicle. But just after boarding, the suspect allegedly pointed a knife on Antasuda.

Alhambra’s accomplice appeared from hiding behind the vehicle Brian Kenneth Humol.

“Dapat makakalabas pa nga raw it ito.

The suspects left the victim’s body in Barangay Sauyo in Quezon City at midnight on April 2.

Antasuda’s family has already reported to the police that the victim was missing. But because they had talked to the victim before the crime and sent the tracking locator of the suspects’ vehicle, Alhambra was arrested.

Humol was later arrested in the entrapment operation.

In a statement by Grab Philippines, they regretted the incident and offered their condolences and assistance to the victim’s family.

They also continue to cooperate with the police in connection with the ongoing investigation.
