Godfather rapes 13-year-old godchild

A 13-year-old girl who was just buying soft drinks was allegedly raped by her godfather right inside the suspect’s shop in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

In a report by Russel Simorio on GMA Regional TV “Balitang Amianan,” the victim, who hid under the name “Nikka,” said that her godfather suddenly pulled her to the store and raped her.

“Sabi niya po sa akin papatayin daw ako sa daan kapag nagsumbong po ako,” the victim said.

The victim’s mother, on the other hand, wants the suspect to pay for what he has done to the child.

The woman even said that the suspect admitted the crime before fleeing.

GMA News also went to the suspect’s house to ask for their side, but no one was in their place.

The victim will be subjected to medical examination because she did not immediately report to the police what her godfather did to her.

Authorities are searching for the suspect.

Several Filipinos returning to HongKong from tested positive for COVID-19

United Filipinos in Hong Kong are worried that some Filipinos returning there are positive for disease 2019.

“Ang mga recent imported cases dito ay galing Pilipinas, meaning mga Pilipinong pupunta dito magwo-work, pagdating dito nagpo-positive,” said Eman Villanueva, Secretary General of UNIFIl-HK.

In an interview with TeleRadyo on Wednesday, Villanueva said it would be good to see why this happened even though the said Filipinos also underwent COVID-19 testing before flying to Hong Kong.

“Bakit d’yan tinest naman sila negative. Pagdating dito, positive. ‘Yun ang medyo nakakakaba. Ilang beses na, minsan may lima puro Pilipino. Nakakapangamba din. Ibig sabihin hindi sila nade-detect dyan,” he said.

This July, all incoming passengers from the Philippines and six other countries will need to present a negative COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction test upon arriving in HongKong.

It must also include a document that the is issued at a government-recognized laboratory or health care institution. Such a record must also show the name or passport number of the passenger.
