Girlfriend of Jang Lucero denies involvement in killing

The family of female driver Jang Lucero wants to investigate her girlfriend, Meyah Amatorio, to find out if she is involved in the heinous crime, something the latter denied. The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will also conduct their investigation.

In a report by John Consulta on GMA News “24 Oras” on Monday, it was said that Lucero’s brother approached the NBI to re-investigate the case due to the family’s suspicion that Amatorio was involved in the crime.

Amatorio’s former girlfriend Annshiela Belarmino was first involved in the crime and was charged by the Calamba Police with the murder of Lucero.

But Belarmino was released after the Calamba Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the murder complaint about the lack of sufficient evidence to link her to the crime.

Belarmino had earlier denied that she had anything to do with Jang’s death, who sustained multiple stab wounds to the body.

Meanwhile, Amatorio insists that Jang’s family’s suspicion that she was involved in the death of her girlfriend is untrue.

Patunayan niyo po, puro po kayo fake news,” said Amatorio in an interview with GMA News.

Amatorio also appealed to stop attacking her and her family on social media because they are already hurt by the threats and intimidation they receive.

“Sobrang sakit.

In this regard, the NBI has promised that they will focus on Jang’s case and conduct their investigation.

“With the filing of a complaint request for investigation of Jang Lucero, we will now officially initiate an investigation, and we have directed the chief of Laguna NBI office,” said Atty. Antonio Pagatpat, NBI deputy director for regional operation services.
