Get to know the cast of Voltes V Legacy

The five main stars in the much-anticipated live-action series of “Voltes V Legacy” are complete, after the introduction of which Kapuso stars will play Steve Armstrong and Jamie Robinson.

In a report by Nelson Canlas on News “24 Oras” on Wednesday, Miguel Tanfelix will play the role of Steve, the team leader, and loving brother.

Steve is the pilot of the volt cruiser that would be the head of Voltes V.

“Ang sarap sa pakiramdam, para akong nasa cloud 9 at tuwing gigising ako sa umaga I’m so pumped eh.,” the actor said.

Miguel is said to have been preparing for his role for a year.

“Si Steve, lider siya eh alam ko kung paano umasta bilang isang lider, paano ‘yung confidence niya and of course nagbabasa din ako ng books about leadership at nakikinig ako ng podcast,” he explained.

“Babalik iyong pagkabata ninyo, maaalala ninyo ‘yung moments ninyo habang pinapanood ang Voltes V,” he promised.

“At sa ka-henerasyon ko ngayon, ipaparanas namin kung ano nararamdaman ng nanay [at] tatay ninyo habang pinapanood ang Voltes V with a different flavor, paparamdam namin sa inyo iyong lungkot, saya, epicness at marami pang iba,” he added.

Get to know the cast of Voltes V Legacy

The only woman in the group, Jamie, will be played by Ysabel Ortega.

Jamie is the ninja and pilot of the volt lander, who becomes the foot of Voltes V.

Despite the pandemic, Ysabel continued to prepare for her role.

“Even before na mag-start pa ‘yung official namin, gusto ko na magkaroon man lang ng konting background sa martial arts, sa kick boxing, sa Muay Thai.  So I can say na now I’m more than ready,” the actress said.

“Voltes V has a lot of meaning to its story its not just about family its not just about fighting for what you believe in its about serving your country,  its about being a hero in your own way and i would like to be in that position to inspire a lot of people,” she said.

On Monday, three other members of the Voltes V team, Radson Flores, were introduced as “Mark Gordon,”; Matt Lozano as “Robert ‘Big Bird’ Armstrong”; and Rafael Landicho, as “Little Jon.”
