Fully vaccinated can enter Occ. Mindoro even without RT-PCR test

The RT-PCR test will no longer be required for anyone entering Occidental Mindoro as long as they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

This is under an executive order issued by the provincial government on Monday. The same policy is also effective starting Monday.

But according to the provincial government, it is necessary first to contact the destination local government unit (LGU) and submit the necessary documents for S-pass registration 72 hours before traveling.

It is also necessary to send a vaccination card or certificate with details of the traveler’s vaccination.

Health assessment teams are on standby at all ports in Matabang, Abra de Ilog, Caminawit, Lubang, Tilik, Looc, Magsaysay border, and San Jose Airport. They are said to be the ones to check on all the travelers.

If a fully vaccinated individual is diagnosed with COVID-19, he or she will still be subjected to mandatory quarantine at the LGU’s isolation facility.

Travelers who are fully vaccinated can also enter  City even if they do not show a negative  result.

However, travelers must have a valid vaccination card or certificate as proof that they have completed their 1st and 2nd dose vaccine against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

According to Baguio City Tourism, the vaccinating establishment of the traveler must be stated on the vaccination card or certificate.

In accordance with IATF Resolution No. 124-B, the Baguio City government said they would consider individuals fully vaccinated about two weeks after all their vaccination doses.

Leisure travelers to Baguio City still need to register online at visita.baguio.gov.ph and obtain a QR-coded tourist pass to be allowed to enter the city.

Meanwhile, the decision is left to each LGU whether to allow children 5 years and older to leave the house, but the said area must be under general community quarantine (GCQ) or modified GCQ.

The provincial government will continue to ask for a negative RT-PCR test for anyone entering the province who is not fully vaccinated unless authorized persons outside of residence.
