From GoT to Money Heist: Celebrities who tested positive of coronavirus

The pandemic coronavirus also hit the entertainment industry as more and more celebrities reveal they, too, have been infected by COVID-19.

The Money Heist actress Itziar Ituño Martínez announced on Wednesday that tested positive of 2019 coronavirus or COVID-19.

“Today, we have received confirmation of the epidemiological test. It is a coronavirus,” the Spanish actress said in a translated Instagram post.

Itziar Ituño Martínez was popularly known as Inspector Raquel Murillo of TV series Money Heist.

“My case is mild and I am fine but it is very very contagious and super dangerous for people who are weaker. Take care of yourself,” she added.

Martinez was added to the list of celebrities who got infected with the pandemic coronavirus.

Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson announced March 12 that they tested positive of the virus while they were filming untitled Elvis Presley movie from Warner Brothers.

The couple were not hospitalized but were isolated as they recover.

Idris Elba

English star Idris Elba tested positive for the virus Monday, according to a video he shared with millions of Twitter followers.

“This morning I got some test results back for coronavirus, and it came back positive … and it sucks,” Elba, 47, said.

“I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus,” he wrote on Twitter. “Stay home people and be pragmatic.”

French -Ukrainian actress and model Kurylenko, 40, announced Sunday on Instagram that she was “locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus.”

Known for starring alongside Daniel Craig in the 2008 James Bond film “Quantum of Solace,” Kurylenko also noted that she has “actually been ill for almost a week now” with symptoms including “fever and fatigue.”

“Game of Thrones” actor Hivju also used Instagram on Monday to reveal he had been diagnosed and is “self-isolating at home for as long as it takes.”

“There are people at higher risk for who this virus might be a devastating diagnosis, so I urge all of you to be extremely careful,” he wrote. “Wash your hands, keep 1,5 meters distance from others, go in quarantine; just do everything you can to stop the virus from spreading.”

Rachel Matthews

American actress Matthews, who voiced Northuldra member Honeymaren in “Frozen 2,” has “been in quarantine for the last week” after testing positive for the virus, according to her Instagram story.

Charlotte Lawrence

American singer-songwriter Lawrence, 19, announced on Instagram Tuesday that she too had been infected with the COVID-19.

“I am going to be completely fine,” the “Sleep Talking” artist wrote. “But many who get it won’t be if too many people get sick too quickly. So this is not me asking for prayers, for love, for sweet messages. This is me pleading for you all to protect those less able to survive this virus.”

NBA star Kevin Durant also announced he is one of the seven NBA players who tested positive of the pandemic coronavirus.
