Authorities caught a foreigner couple having sex in public at Bulabog Beach in Boracay Island, Kalibo, Aklan.
According to the police, they received a complaint about the indecent behavior of an Australian man and a British national woman on the beach while the young people there freely watch.
Malay Municipal Police Station officials caught the two in the act. They were both naked while in the shallow part of the beach at around 6 pm.
“‘Yung babae po ay nag-topless at ang lalaki po ay napicturan po ng ating tropa ay talagang nakalabas po ang kaniyang ari at they were engaging po, nakaluhod po ang babae, ‘yun po nagpe-perform ng sex po,” said Police Lt. Col. Jonathan Pablito, chief of Malay Municipal Police Station.

The two were arrested and charged at the Aklan Prosecutor’s Office with grave scandal and disobedience to a person in authority after the man further tried to flee the police.
The foreigner couple was released after they paid P6,000 each for grave scandal and P3,000 each for disobedience to a person in authority.
In 2011, the Department of Tourism had expressed concern over an incident involving two foreigners having sex on the beach in Boracay island on New Year’s Eve.
Last year, Taiwanese tourist was fined for wearing just a “string” in Boracay. Because of the incident, authorities may ban nudity and wearing a skimpy outfit in the public areas of Boracay Island.
