Fly infestation in 2 barangays in Toledo City, Cebu

The Toledo City local government is already investigating a poultry farm that believed to be the source of fly infestation in the two barangays in Toledo City, Cebu.

Residents in two villages have complained about the thousands of flies that cause people to become ill.

Emil Oberes owned the poultry farm, which allegedly caused the fly infestation in Toledo City, Cebu. However, Oberes vehemently denied the allegations.

Jerry Oberes, son of the owner of the poultry, said they are implementing proper sanitation at their facility. He also said they are open to any investigation.

It was learned that the poultry farm had been closed two years ago and reopened in September.

Apart from the village of Cambang-ug, fly infestation also affected nearby barangay General Climaco.
