Flames overtook a bamboo house in Bukidnon, on the island of Mindanao. The fire took the lives of five children, all brothers and sisters, aged two, three, five 10 and 11.
The victims were caught in a fire that gutted their family home Monday night in Purok 13, Sitio Bangkal, Burangay Capinonan, Bukidnon.
The victims were sleeping inside the home when the owner 30-year-old Richie Lingyan was awakened to the living room engulfed in flames. The names of the victims have not been released.
