The municipal health office said the COVID-19 patient went to Metro Manila because she applied for a job as a domestic helper in Hong Kong.

When she returned to Mindoro, she only found out that she had tested positive for the disease.

But despite this, she managed to escape to Metro Manila again on August 1 to take care of her application, and she underwent the swab test again.

She allegedly kept it a secret so that the LGU and the province did not know.

On August 18, the LGU of Sablayan learned of the Delta variant case due to the call of the regional epidemiology surveillance unit.

Kinabukasan, sinubmit n’ya po ulit ang sarili niya for RT PCR, for second opinion.
