Filipino skater Michael Martinez has won gold in the Triglav Trophy International Figure Skating Competition in Jesenice, Slovenia.
Martinez bagged the gold in free skating and fifth in the short programme to pick up a winning score of 181.84 points.

“Thank you for your support and prayers,” the 18-year old Olympic skater posted on his Facebook page.
In 2014, Martinez, who is ranked 33rd in the world, also bagged gold in the same tournament.
The Triglav Trophy is an annual international figure skating competition.
