Foam party of a resort in Bacolod under investigation

Authorities are investigating a foam party at the opening of a resort in Bacolod City, after seeing attendees wearing no face masks while dancing and possibly partying.

This happened at the opening of a resort in Barangay Pahanocoy on January 15.

The Bacolod City Emergency Operations Center has already conducted an investigation. According to them, those who attended the said party clearly violated the minimum health protocols.

The newly opened resort will be closed in the event of a breach of quarantine rules.

The resort has not yet issued a statement.

According to the Department of Health, Negros Occidental is seventh in the highest COVID-19 cases in the country, while Bacolod City is 18th when it comes to cities and municipalities.

Zamboanga City has recorded the most number of new cases, according to the Department of Health, which is the first time for the city.

“Nakita natin ‘yung holiday activities and that is the primary reason na tinitingnan nating kung bakit meron talagang pagtaas ng kaso dito sa iba’t ibang lugar. Rosario Vergeire.
