A man was arrested after his wife complained that he allegedly raped their children aged ten and seven in Tuy, Batangas.
In a report by John Consulta on GMA News “24 Oras” on Wednesday, the video of Tuy Police shows their personnel and representatives of the municipal social welfare department going to the house of the complainant and her husband.
The woman positively pointed out her 33-year-old husband, who allegedly repeatedly raped their two young children.
The mother found out that the husband was abusing their two children when a child complained that her genitals were hurting.
“Kung kailan wala ang ina saka ginagawa ang karumal-dumal na bagay dito po sa kanilang sariling bahay. Kasi simula six years old pa po siya (panganay) hanggang 10-years-old ay hinahalay na po ng sarili niyang ama,” said Police Major Von Gualberto, chief of Tuy Police.

“At itong pitong-taong-gulang naman ay mag-iisang taon na po niyang ginagawan po ng panghahalay,” he added.

According to police, the suspect attempted to hang himself inside the jail but was stopped by police.
“Nagsisisi na po ako sa aking mga nagawang kasalanan. Sana po mapatawad po ako ng aking pamilya at aking mga anak dahil nagawa ko po sa kanila ‘yon. Sana pati ang mga tao, pasensya na po kayo at ako’y talagang nagkamali po,” the suspect said.

Authorities and MSWD of Tuy, Batangas are trying to give psychological intervention to the victims to reduce the trauma they suffered from their own father.
