Experts warn the public, especially those who love Tiktok, against a new challenge trending in social media now, the “skull breaker” or “tripping challenge,” which can cause serious injury.
The viral challenge in Tiktok involves three people. Two people on either side of the third one will jump in the air, and once they land, the person in between the two will do the same. Then, when the third person jumps in the air, the other two would kick his legs while he is mid-air. As a result, the person may fall backward or sideways.
But according to Dr. Gerald Belandres said the challenge was extremely dangerous because it could break bones or break the victim’s head.
(This is scary. It depends on how the person falls, especially if it is the body or worse the head. The can have a concussion. They may also have a head injury and may be unconscious, maybe dizzy, and may have severe vomiting.)

The doctor also said the victim could be on comatose or if he or she suffers internal bleeding.
“…maaari din itong mag-cause ng death [it could also cause death],” he added.
For Balendres, such a challenge should not be undertaken, and people should be prepared in case of an accident.
(The usual first aid done is that you really need to assess the victim whether he or she is conscious or not. If you see open wounds, you can cover it or dress it up a little, then eventually take the victim to the hospital.)
