Armed men then alighted and kidnapped Nadia Casar and the Grab driver and were taken to a safehouse in Palayan City.

The Grab driver told the police that he overheard one of the suspects ordering the victim to ask her family for a huge amount of  in exchange for her release.

The driver was later released the following day while the victim’s relatives sought the assistance of the AKG.

He then reported the incident to the Sta. Rosa Municipal Police Station in Nueva Ecija, where he saw the group of police officers involved in the crime.
