Angeles City police are on a manhunt for eight Korean men after a 23-year-old Filipina said she was gang-raped by the group last weekend.
Police are coordinating with the South Korean Embassy and the Korean community of Angeles City to assist them in identifying and capturing the suspects of the alleged crime.
The young woman is a worker in one of the Fields Avenue, Angeles City bars and is a native of Plaridel in Bulacan. She is in the process of filing the rape charges pending a medical test.
The Filipina told investigators that she received a text at 10pm on Sunday asking her to meet a man at a hotel on Fields Avenue. When she arrived the eight men took her to another hotel nearby and sexually abused her by forcing a liquor bottle inside her, choking her with a string and threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
Authorities are attempting to secure the CCTV footage of both hotels at the time of the incident. No other information is available at press-time for this story.
