Residents in Luzon felt earthquake tremors at around 4:30 p.m. Friday.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, a 5.5-magnitude earthquake hit Burdeos town in Quezon province.

The earthquake occurred at 4:28 p.m. northeast of Burdeos at a depth of 10 kilometers, Phivolcs said. The quake was tectonic in origin.
Meanwhile, in Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte, and Quezon City, residents experience Intensity IV while Intensity III was felt in Guinayangan, Quezon.
Netizens from Manila, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, and other parts of Luzon quickly posted that they felt the tremors.
