Meanwhile, Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go praised and thanked President Duterte for approving the additional P3.783 billion in aid to NCR, Laguna and Bataan under the ECQ to be used against COVID-19 and hunger.

Go said the government should really only provide the necessary social protection to low-income families to combat the adverse effects of the COVID-19 global health crisis.

Siguraduhin nating walang maiiwan sa ating muling pagbangon,” Go said.

Metro Manila is on ECQ starting August 6-20, while Laguna and Bataan are August 6-15 and August 8-22, respectively.

Meanwhile, Tuguegarao City appealed to the government to include them in local governments that are given assistance under enhanced community quarantine.

Meron pong Tuguegarao City that is existing in our country.

Tuguegarao City is under ECQ until August 21 due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.
