An American who was originally arrested for ‘Malicious Mischief and Unjust Vexation’ is now in bigger trouble after his landlords cleared his belongings out from his rented home in the town of Itogon, Benguet, just outside of Baguio City.
Francis Capra had been charged with the two criminal offences and was serving a year for his crimes. But this week he may find that a year is just the beginning of his troubles after his rented unit in Itogon was cleaned out and drugs were discovered inside the home.
Police were called to the scene when Leah and Pablito Guamos were cleaning out the personal belongings of the suspect due to non-renewal and non-payment of his lease agreement.
However, on that clean-out the brother and sister found 1.97 grams of shabu in his belongings – police were called to the scene to collect the sample.
