Alleged COVID-19 vaccine slot seller surrenders

The 25-year-old alleged COVID-19 vaccine slot seller Mandaluyong City has already surrendered to the local government.

According to Mandaluyong Mayor Menchie Abalos, the suspect’s father, Cyle Bonifacio, worked as a barangay councilor in the city, who came forward about his son.

I thought all the while, ‘di ko talaga alam na taga-Mandaluyong siya,” said Abalos.

Bonifacio said he did not actually sell but only gave him a receipt. But he refused to name who it was from.

He also clarified that his parents had nothing to do with the incident.

He added that he was ready to tell everything to the authorities.

He also allegedly has no connection with the local government.

“Ang demeanor ng magulang kanina, both of them are shocked. They haven’t seen their child for the last 3 years. If you want to help yourself. Huwag kang magsisinungaling.

Police will also find out who is behind the COVID-19 vaccine slot for sale scheme.

“Fortunately, humarap siya ngayon. We have been looking for him. Dito magsisimula muli ang identities. We will be releasing the complete details after filing of the case,” said Mandaluyong City police chief Police Col. Gauvin Mel Unos.

The COVID-19 vaccine slot seller suspect has been turned over to the PNP-CIDG.

Some local governments are already taking steps to prevent such incidents, such as Pasay and Manila.
