In India, which is now experiencing a severe crisis due to the COVID-19 cases surge, the government has already used trains and military planes to quickly deliver oxygen supplies to medical facilities.

The air force has also sent to other neighboring countries to get oxygen supply.

Many of the deaths from COVID-19 in India recently were due to a lack of oxygen.

The Delhi high court called what is happening today in India a “tsunami of disease”, where a record high of those testing positive for the disease was reported for three days in a row.

Meanwhile, fourteen of the 17 local government units () in Metro  recorded negative growth rates in -19 cases in the past week, according to the OCTA Research Group.

According to Dr. Guido David, OCTA fellow, this does not mean that the trend of cases is down, but it can be considered a good indicator.

“The green trend line actually show a decrease. In fact, the number of cases on average right now for the past 7 days is 4,200. It’s about 11 percent lower compared to the previous week when we were averaging more than 5,000. Two weeks ago, it was about 5,200 on average. That was about the peak,” said David.
